An objective of the present invention is to provide a regenerative braking control method of a hybrid vehicle which can improve the fuel efficiency of a vehicle. The regenerative braking control method of a hybrid vehicle comprises: a vehicle condition determining step in which a controller determines whether a vehicle speed and a driving mode satisfy a condition suitable for regenerative braking control; an accumulation number increasing step in which the controller increases the number of accumulations of a reduction direction signal if the reduction direction signal is inputted from a bidirectional input device in a situation where the condition suitable for regenerative braking control is satisfied; an accumulation number decreasing step in which the controller decreases the number of accumulations of the reduction direction signal in accordance with the number of times of an increase direction signal if the increase direction signal is inputted from the bidirectional input device in a situation where the condition suitable for regenerative braking control is satisfied; and a stepwise braking step in which the controller increases regenerative braking torque of a motor in a stepwise manner in accordance with the number of accumulations of the reduction direction signal.
