The present invention relates to a dual-battery hardware-in-the-loop-simulation (HILS) system and a method of driving the same which can increase the accuracy of battery performance verification. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method of driving the dual-battery HILS system can charge a first battery module which is a real product by a first power supply (DC power supply) by the level of a charging amount of an alternator (or a hybrid motor) of a vehicle derived by calculating a driving cycle, charge a second battery module by power of the first battery module by down-converting driving of a DC-DC converter, charge the first battery module by power of the second battery module by up-converting driving, discharge the first battery module through a first electric loader by a load level, and discharge the second battery module through a second electric loader.

    본 발명은 듀얼 베터리(Dual Battery) HILS(Hardware In the Loop Simulation) 시스템 및 이의 구동 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 듀얼 배터리 HILS 시스템의 구동 방법은, 드라이빙 사이클의 연산을 통해 도출된 차량의 알터네이터(또는 하이브리드 모터)의 충전양의 크기만큼 제1 전원 공급부(DC Power Supply)를 통해 실제 제품인 제1 배터리 모듈을 충전시킬 수 있다. 또한, DC-DC 컨버터의 다운 컨버팅 구동을 통해 제1 배터리 모듈의 전원으로 제2 배터리 모듈을 충전시키고, 업 컨버팅 구동을 통해 제2 배터리 모듈의 전원으로 제1 배터리 모듈을 충전시킬 수 있다. 또한, 부하의 크기만큼 제1 전기부하(electric loader)를 통해 제1 배터리 모듈을 방전시키고, 제2 전기부하를 통해 제2 배터리 모듈을 방전시킬 수 있다.
