The present invention relates to a pump tower having a vibration reduction apparatus. According to the present invention, the pump tower may comprise: a pump tower main body installed in a cargo hold of a ship, wherein a part of an upper side of the pump tower main body is located outside the cargo hold; and the vibration reduction apparatus installed on an upper end of the pump tower main body so that the pump tower main body varies a natural frequency of a vibration generated by an engine vibromotive force as the ship is operated. The pump tower is configured as a completely sealed LNG cargo hold space because of characteristics thereof such that it is impossible to measure the vibration of the pump tower for resonance avoidance during an actual ship navigation. Accordingly, it is discovered that the upper end of the pump tower located on an upper side of a trunk deck comes to vibrate by an engine vibromotive force during a navigation of the ship, and a pump tower reinforcing apparatus and/or a dynamic absorber apparatus is installed on the upper end of the pump tower such that the natural frequency can be varied and thus, the pump tower can be efficiently prevented from being fatigue-fractured by a resonance phenomenon due to vibration.
본 발명은 진동저감장치를 구비하는 펌프타워에 관한 것으로, 펌프타워는, 선박의 화물창에 설치되며, 상부 일부가 상기 화물창의 외부에 위치하는 펌프타워 본체; 및 상기 펌프타워 본체가 상기 선박이 운항됨에 따라 엔진 기진력에 의해 발생하는 진동의 고유진동수를 가변시키기 위해 상기 펌프타워 본체의 상단부에 설치된 진동저감장치를 포함할 수 있다. 펌프타워는 그 특성상 완전 밀폐된 LNG 화물창 공간으로 구성되어 실제 선박운항 중에 공진회피를 위하여 펌프타워의 진동을 계측하는 것이 불가능하므로, 선박 운항중 엔진 기진력에 의해서 트렁크 데크 상부에 위치하는 펌프타워 상단부가 진동하게 됨을 발견하고, 펌프타워 상단부에 펌프타워 보강장치 및/또는 동흡진장치를 설치함으로써, 고유진동수를 가변시켜서 진동에 의한 공진현상으로 펌프타워가 피로파괴되는 것을 효율적으로 회피할 수 있다.
