The present invention relates to a technique for preventing damage to a belt pulley and a transmission by improving strength against an impact applied to the belt pulley by a sudden change in the friction coefficient of a road surface. According to the present invention, disclosed is a method for controlling a belt pulley of a continuously variable transmission, including the steps of: setting an allowable change rate map by adding a predetermined margin to output shaft rotation change rate on an ordinary road surface according to the conditions of a high friction road; and controlling to increase hydraulic pressure of the belt pulley when the current output shaft rotation change rate of a vehicle is more than the set value of the allowable change rate map.
본 발명은 노면의 급격한 마찰계수 변동에 의해 벨트 풀리에 가해지는 충격에 대한 강건성을 향상시켜 벨트 풀리 및 변속기의 파손을 방지하는 기술에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에서는, 고마찰로 조건에 따른 일반노면 출력축회전수변화율에 소정의 마진을 더하여 허용변화율맵을 설정하고; 현재 차량의 출력축회전수변화율이 상기 허용변화율맵의 설정값 이상시, 벨트 풀리의 유압을 상승하여 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무단변속기의 벨트 풀리 제어방법이 소개된다.
