The present invention relates to a boil-off gas proceeding method for a liquefied hydrogen carrier which can efficiently process boil-off gas created in a liquefied hydrogen carrier for transporting liquefied hydrogen. According to the present invention, when sailing in an emission control region, the boil-off gas proceeding method for a liquefied hydrogen carrier comprises a step of supplying hydrogen boil-off gas discharged from a liquefied hydrogen storage tank as fuel for propulsion to generate thrust, and supplying the hydrogen boil-off gas as fuel for power generation to produce electricity to allow a power user entity in the ship to use the electricity. When sailing in a non-emission control region, the boil-off gas proceeding method for a liquefied hydrogen carrier comprises: a step of supplying the hydrogen boil-off gas discharged from the liquefied hydrogen storage tank as fuel for power generation to produce electricity; and a step of storing the produced electricity in a storage battery. The electricity stored in the storage battery is used in an emission control region.

    본 발명은 액화수소를 운반하는 액화수소 운반선에서 생성되는 증발가스를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있도록 하는 액화수소 운반선의 증발가스 처리 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 액화수소 운반선의 증발가스 처리 방법은, 액체수소 운반선의 증발가스 처리 방법에 있어서, 배출 규제지역을 운항할 때에는, 액체수소 저장탱크로부터 배출되는 수소 증발가스를 추진용 연료로 공급하여 추진력을 발생시키고, 발전용 연료로 공급하여 전력을 생산함으로써 선내 전력 수요처에서 사용하는 단계;를 포함하고, 배출 비규제지역을 운항할 때에는, 상기 액체수소 저장탱크로부터 배출되는 수소 증발가스를 발전용 연료로 공급하여 전력을 생산하는 단계; 및 생산된 전력을 축전지에 저장하는 단계;를 포함하여, 상기 축전지에 저장된 전력은 배출 규제지역에서 활용하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
