The present invention provides a vehicle engine room undercover having excellent high rigidity and heat resistance and comprising a thermoplastic fiber having a shape retention function, and a low-melting point binder at a weight ratio of 4 : 6 to 9 : 1. The low-melting point binder is a low-melting point cis-core fiber. The low-melting point cis-core fiber has a core part, that is a polyester resin, and a sheath layer that is manufactured by copolymerizing an acid component composed of dimethyl terephthalic acid or terephthalic acid and dimethyl adipic acid or adipic acid and a diol component composed of 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol, 1,4-butanediol, and ethylene glycol, and conducting single spinning. Therefore, the undercover has excellent high-rigidity and heat-resistant.

    본 발명은 고강성 및 내열성이 우수한 차량 엔진룸 언더커버에 있어서, 형태유지 기능의 열가소성섬유; 및 저융점 바인더가 중량비 4:6 내지 9:1이며, 상기 저융점 바인더는 저융점 시스코어섬유이되, 상기 저융점 시스코어섬유는 코어부는 폴리에스테르 수지이며, 시스부는 디메틸테레프탈산 또는 테레프탈산, 및 디메틸아디핀산 또는 아디핀산으로 이루어진 산성분; 및 2-메틸-1,3-프로판다이올, 1,4-부탄다이올 및 에틸렌글리콜로 이루어진 디올성분을 공중합시켜 단독방사하여 제조되는 것에 특징이 있는 고강성 및 내열성이 우수한 차량 엔진룸 언더커버에 관한 것이다.
