Disclosed is a method of battery cell tap cooling and active temperature balancing control using a thermoelectric cooling device. The thermoelectric cooling method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: estimating a temperature of at least one battery cell included in a plurality of battery cells stacked on each other; estimating a temperature of a refrigerant passing through a section corresponding to a position of the battery cell in a heat sink having a cooling channel through which the refrigerant passes; and controlling a temperature of the battery cell by controlling thermoelectric cooling current based on the temperature of the battery cell and the temperature of the refrigerant.

    열전 냉각 장치를 사용한 배터리 셀탭 냉각과 능동적 온도 밸런싱 제어 방법이 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따른 열전 냉각 방법은 상호간 적층 배치되는 복수의 배터리 셀에 포함된 적어도 하나의 배터리 셀의 온도를 추정하는 단계, 냉매가 통과하는 냉각 채널을 구비한 히트 싱크에 있어서, 배터리 셀의 위치에 대응되는 구간을 통과하는 냉매의 온도를 추정하는 단계, 및 배터리 셀의 온도와 냉매의 온도에 기초하여, 열전 냉각(Thermoelectric Cooling) 전류를 제어하여 배터리 셀의 온도를 제어 하는 단계를 포함한다.
