The present invention relates to a reservation charging device for a vehicle and a control method thereof and, more specifically, to a reservation charging device for a vehicle, which is determined by determining a wake-up reason of a charge controller when the charge controller responsible for charging control of a vehicle battery wakes up, and prevents the malfunction of the reservation charging device due to unintentional wake-up of the charge controller by making the appropriate linking operation according to the determined wake-up reason, and to a control method thereof.

    본 발명은 차량용 예약충전 장치 및 이의 제어 방법에 관한 것으로서, 차량 배터리의 충전 제어를 담당하는 충전제어기가 웨이크업 되는 경우 상기 충전제어기의 웨이크업 이유를 구분하여 판단하고, 판단한 웨이크업 이유에 따라 적절한 연계동작이 이루어지도록 함으로써 의도치 않은 충전제어기의 웨이크업으로 인한 예약충전 장치의 오동작 문제를 방지할 수 있도록 하는 차량용 예약충전 장치 및 이의 제어 방법을 제공하는데 목적이 있다.
