The present invention discloses a charging device which can extend service life of an electric vehicle, a control method of charging device, and a charging station control server. The charging device comprises: an image acquisition unit for acquiring a vehicle image according to vehicle access or connection; an analysis unit for recognizing a vehicle type by analyzing the vehicle image and determining a different charging method according to the recognized vehicle type; and a control unit performing control to charge a battery of the vehicle according to the determined charging method.
