Embodiments relate to a system and a method for determining a collision point of vehicle to prevent a collision. According to the system and method, a wheel shape of an object moving in a direction crossing a travel direction of a vehicle is recognized, and a movement angle between the moving object and the vehicle is calculated using the recognized wheel shape. Moreover, a lateral direction movement speed and a longitudinal direction movement speed of the object are accurately calculated using a movement speed of the object and the movement angle of the object, and thus it is possible to accurately determine a collision point between the vehicle and the object and prevent a collision between the vehicle and the object.

    본 실시예들은 차량의 충돌 시점을 판단하고 충돌을 방지하는 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 차량의 주행 방향과 교차하는 방향으로 이동하는 물체의 바퀴 모양을 인식하고 인식된 바퀴 모양을 통해 이동하는 물체가 차량과 형성하는 이동 각도를 산출한다. 그리고, 물체의 이동 속도와 물체의 이동 각도를 이용하여 물체의 횡방향 이동 속도 및 종방향 이동 속도를 정확히 산출함으로써, 차량과 물체의 충돌 시점을 정확히 판단하고 차량이 물체와 충돌하는 상황을 방지할 수 있도록 한다.
