The present invention provides a motor housing cooling apparatus comprising: a cylinder housing body having an accommodation space in which a motor is accommodated; a motor housing including a cover closing the housing body; and a cooling pipe installed on an outer circumferential surface of the housing body and of which a cooling fluid flows in the inside. According to the present invention, a refrigerant is leak-free, and a thermal cross torque phenomenon can be prevented, so cooling performance can be maintained and increased. Also, unlike a conventional method which includes a component related to additional post-processing and sealing after conventional die-casting and has a complicated process for a sealing work and the like and a high manufacturing cost due to the sealing work, the motor housing cooling apparatus is insert-injected to a metal mold after processing an extruded pipe, so manufacturing time and costs can be reduced and productivity can be increased.
본 발명은 내부에 모터가 수용되는 수용공간이 형성된 원통형의 하우징몸체와, 하우징몸체를 폐쇄하는 커버를 포함하는 모터하우징 및 하우징몸체의 외주 측면에 삽입 설치되고, 내부에 냉각유체가 유동하는 냉각배관을 포함하는 모터하우징용 냉각장치를 제공한다. 상기한 바에 따르면, 냉매의 누수가 없고(Leak free), 써멀 크로스-토크 현상을 방지할 수 있어 냉각성능을 유지 및 향상시킬 수 있으며, 종래의 다이캐스팅 후 별도 후가공 및 실링에 관련된 부품을 포함하고 실링을 위한 작업등으로 공정이 복잡하고 제조단가가 높았던 종래와는 달리 압출파이프를 가공 후 모터하우징 금형에 인서트(Insert) 사출하기 때문에 생산 시간을 절감할 수 있으며, 제조원가를 낮출 수 있어 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
