The present invention relates to a sensor fault detection method using a single-edge nibble transmission (SENT) protocol, which comprises the following steps of: a) outputting at least one of detection signals (P1, P2) as a fault signal, and checking whether output of the fault signal is continued more than predetermined time; b) calculating difference between the detection signals (P1, P2) when the detection signals (P1, P2) are all normal detection signals, and checking whether the difference is more than a predetermined value, and the difference more than the predetermined value is continued more than predetermined time; and c) outputting diagnosis information along with a sensor fault signal when the output of the fault signal is continued more than the predetermined time in the (a) step, or the difference more than the predetermined value is continued more than the predetermined time in the (b) step.

    본 발명은 센트 프로토콜을 이용한 센서 이상 검출 방법에 관한 것으로, a) 검출신호들(P1,P2) 중 적어도 하나 이상이 고장신호로 출력되며, 상기 고장신호의 출력이 설정시간 이상 지속되는지 확인하는 단계와, b) 상기 검출신호들(P1,P2) 모두 정상적인 검출신호이면, 검출신호들(P1,P2)의 차를 구하여 그 차가 설정값 이상이며, 상기 설정값 이상의 차가 설정시간 이상 지속되는지 확인하는 단계와, c) 상기 a) 단계에서 고장신호의 출력이 설정시간 이상 지속되는 경우 또는 b) 단계에서 설정값 이상의 차가 설정시간 이상 지속되는 경우, 센서고장신호와 함께 진단정보를 출력하는 단계를 포함한다.
