In a sequential lighting method of a vehicle turn signal lamp, provided are a method for automatically changing the sequential lighting method in accordance with a fall or rain and a system using the same. In a driving condition of poor visibility due to a heavy fall of rain, a rain sensor can be used to measure an amount of rainfall. Moreover, duration consumed for the sequential lighting of the turn signal lamp is reduced in accordance with increase in the rainfall so that the turn signal lamp can be effectively recognized by an opposing driver.

    차량의 방향지시등의 순차 점등 방법에 있어서, 비가 오는지 유무에 따라 자동으로 순차 점등 방법을 가변하는 방법 및 이를 이용한 시스템이 제공된다. 특히, 비가 많이 와서 시야확보가 어려운 주행 환경에서, 레인 센서를 이용하여 강우량을 측정하고, 강우량이 증가할수록 방향지시등의 순차 점등에 소요되는 기간을 줄임으로써 상대방 운전자가 방향지시등을 효과적으로 인지할 수 있도록 도울 수 있다.
