The present invention relates to a fuel evaporation gas purge control system for a hybrid vehicle and a control method. The method comprises the steps of: collecting evaporated gas generated in a fuel tank into a canister; controlling a purge control solenoid valve to provide the evaporated gas collected in the canister to a combustion chamber; monitoring whether the purge control solenoid valve is failed; and when failure of the purge control solenoid valve is detected, controlling a torque of an engine by using a hybrid starter and generator (HSG).

    본 발명에 따른 하이브리드 차량용 연료 증발가스 퍼지 제어 방법은 연료 탱크에서 발생된 증발가스를 캐니스터에 포집하는 단계, 퍼지 제어 솔레노이드 밸브를 제어해 상기 캐니시트에 포집된 증발가스를 연소실로 제공하는 단계, 상기 퍼지 제어 솔레노이드 밸브의 고장 여부를 모니터링하는 단계, 그리고 상기 퍼지 제어 솔레노이드 밸브의 고장이 감지되면, 시동 발전기(Hybrid Starter and Generator, HSG)를 이용해 엔진의 토크를 제어하는 단계를 포함한다.
