The present invention relates to a device for controlling the length of a charging cable for an electric vehicle, which is installed on a ceiling or the upper side of the electric vehicle for charging the electric vehicle, and more particularly, to a device for controlling the length of a charging cable for an electric vehicle, including a case installed on a structure of the upper side of the electric vehicle or a ceiling, a first roller part installed in the case to horizontally move and controlling the length of the charging cable, a second roller part installed to constantly maintain an elevating position of the charging cable on the lower end of the case, a plurality of length display parts formed in the charging cable to display the length at a height, a first sensor for sensing the position of the length display part, and a control part for controlling the operation of the first roller part by sensing the position of the charging cable using a sensing signal received from the first sensor. Accordingly, the present invention can automatically control the height of the charging cable and measure damage to the charging cable.

    본 발명은 천정 또는 전기자동차 충전을 위하여 전기자동차 상부에 설치되어 충전케이블의 길이를 조절하는 전기자동차용 충전케이블 길이 제어 장치로서, 천정 또는 전기자동차 상부의 구조물에 설치되는 케이스, 케이스 내부에 수평으로 이동하도록 설치되어 충전케이블의 길이를 조절하는 제1 롤러부, 케이스의 하단에 충전케이블의 승강위치를 일정하게 하도록 설치되는 제2 롤러부, 충전케이블에 형성되어 높낮이 길이를 표시하는 복수의 길이표시부, 길이표시부의 위치를 감지하는 제1 감지센서, 및 제1 감지센서에서 수신된 감지신호를 이용하여 충전케이블의 위치를 감지하여 제1 롤러부의 동작을 제어하는 제어부를 포함하는 전기자동차용 충전케이블 길이 제어 장치에 관한 것이다.
