The present invention relates to a method for reducing braking inconvenience. When driving/braking is controlled for controlling a distance from a preceding vehicle in an SCC/ASCC such that a vehicle of a user is required to perform braking due to braking of the preceding vehicle or an interfering vehicle, the method is able to reduce the braking inconvenience felt by the driver through soft stop braking (SSB) control. To this end, a preferable embodiment of the present invention suggest the SSB for softly braking the vehicle while extending a braking distance as the method for preventing the braking inconvenience. In order to solve the braking inconvenience problem in accordance with falling of a braking pedal which may occur in soft stop braking, an electronic parking brake and a main brake are cooperatively controlled.

    본 발명은 SCC/ASCC에서 선행 차량과의 거리 제어를 위한 구동/제동 제어 시, 선행차량의 제동 등에 의하여 또는 중간에 끼어든 타 차량에 의하여 제동이 필요할 경우 SSB(Soft Stop Braking) 제어를 통하여 운전자가 느끼는 제동 이질감을 저감하는 방안에 대한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 발명의 바람직한 구현예에서는 이질감 방지를 위한 방안으로 제동 거리를 늘리면서 부드럽게 제동하기 위한 SSB(Soft Stop Braking)를 제시하는 한편, 소프트 스탑 제동의 경우 발생할 수 있는 제동 페달의 꺼짐에 따른 이질감 문제를 해소하기 위하여 전자식 주차 브레이크(Electronic parking brake)와 메인 브레이크 간의 협조 제어를 도입하는 것에 특징이 있다.
