Disclosed are an armrest frame having an undercut structure and a manufacturing method thereof. An objective of the present invention is to provide an armrest frame having an undercut structure, which is capable of securing necessary rigidity and strength and greatly reducing weight by adjusting shapes and sizes of reinforcing ribs; and a manufacturing method of the armrest frame having an undercut structure. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the manufacturing method of the armrest frame having an undercut structure comprises the steps of: preforming a first material to prepare a reinforcing member; and injecting a second material in the preformed reinforcing member and forming the undercut structure for cross-sectional expansion of the armrest frame. According to another embodiment of the present invention, the armrest frame having an undercut structure is provided, as an armrest frame which is injection molded by using the second material in the reinforcing member prepared by preforming the first material including continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFT), includes the undercut structure which is formed in the direction for cross-sectional expansion of the armrest frame by using a slide core during injection molding of the second material.
언더컷 구조를 갖는 암레스트 프레임 및 그 제조방법에 관하여 개시한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 제1 소재를 프리포밍(performing) 하여 보강부재를 마련하는 단계와, 프리포밍 된 보강부재에 제2 소재를 사출하며, 암레스트 프레임의 단면 확장을 위한 언더컷(undercut) 구조체를 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 언더컷 구조의 암레스트 프레임 제조방법이 제공된다. 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따르면, CFT(Continuous Fiber reinforced Thermoplastic)를 포함하는 제1 소재를 프리포밍 하여 마련되는 보강부재에 제2 소재를 이용하여 사출 성형되는 암레스트 프레임으로서, 상기 제2 소재의 사출 시 슬라이드 코어(slide core)를 이용하여 암레스트 프레임의 단면을 확장시키는 방향으로 형성되는 언더컷(undercut) 구조체를 포함하는 언더컷 구조의 암레스트 프레임이 제공된다.
