The present invention relates to an electric parking brake which can be applied to a motor on drum (MOD) braking system where a pressing structure of a brake shoe is improved. The electric parking brake according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a drum; a plurality of brake shoes installed inside the drum; and a pressing portion that is disposed between the plurality of brake shoes to generate a braking force by pressing the plurality of brake shoes toward the inner surface of the drum upon the braking operation. The pressing portion includes: a cylinder provided in the drum to form a receiving space therein; a plurality of pistons, which are disposed opposite to each other in the receiving space, coupled to the respective brake shoe and formed at an inner portion thereof with a guide groove having a sectional shape which is gradually narrowed in a predetermined direction; a pressing member which is formed in a wedge-shaped structure having a sectional shape which is gradually narrowed along the central axis, disposed in the guide groove, linearly moved along the guide groove upon the braking operation to separate the plurality of pistons from each other; and a power generating unit that generates power upon the braking operation to linearly move the pressing member in the central axis direction.

    본 발명의 실시예에 따른 전동식 주차 브레이크는 드럼, 상기 드럼의 내측에 설치되는 복수의 브레이크슈, 그리고 상기 복수의 브레이크슈 사이에 배치되어 제동 시 상기 복수의 브레이크슈를 상기 드럼의 내면 측으로 가압하여 제동력을 발생시키는 가압부를 포함하고, 상기 가압부는 상기 드럼에 설치되어 내측에 수용공간을 형성하는 실린더, 상기 수용공간에 대향 배치되어 각 브레이크슈에 결합되고, 서로 마주하는 내측에 미리 설정된 방향을 따라 단면의 폭이 좁아지는 안내홈이 형성되는 복수의 피스톤, 중심축 방향을 따라 단면의 폭이 좁아지는 쐐기형 구조로 형성되어 상기 안내홈에 배치되고, 제동 시 상기 안내홈을 따라 직선 이동하여 상기 복수의 피스톤을 서로 이격시키는 가압부재, 그리고 제동 시 동력을 발생시켜 상기 가압부재를 상기 중심축 방향으로 직선 이동시키는 동력발생부를 포함한다.
