The present invention relates to a welded part with excellent crack tip opening displacement (CTOD) characteristics of a welding heat affected zone and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, when the welding heat affected zone formed by welding in the welded part, acquired by welding a plurality of steel materials, is divided into upper, middle, and lower zones in a thickness direction of the steel material, the middle zone is formed with only a fine grain heat affected zone (FGHAZ), and the upper and lower zones include a coarse grain heat affected zone (CGHAZ). According to the present invention, the angle of a welding wire and a bead overlapping length are properly controlled when a plurality of layers of an ultrathick steel plate are welded, thereby improving the CTOD characteristics of the welding heat affected zone.

    본 발명은 강재를 다층 용접하여 얻어지는 용접부에 있어서, 상기 용접에 의해 형성되는 용접 열영향부를 상기 강재를 두께 방향을 따라 상부영역, 중심영역 및 하부영역으로 구분하였을 때, 상기 중심영역은 세립영역(Fine Grain Heat Affected Zone; FGHAZ) 단독으로 구성되고, 상기 상부영역 및 하부영역은 조립영역(Coarse Grain Heat Affected Zone; CGHAZ)을 포함하는 용접 열영향부 CTOD 특성이 우수한 용접부 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 극후물 강재의 다층용접시 용접와이어 각도 및 비드겹침길이를 적절히 제어함으로써 용접열영향부 CTOD 특성이 향상된 용접부 및 그 제조방법을 제공할 수 있다.
