The present invention relates to a continuously variable transmission for a bicycle. The continuously variable transmission for a bicycle comprises: a first transmission which is installed on a main driving shaft of a bicycle, and has a partial conic outer surface; a second transmission which is installed on a rear wheel shaft of the bicycle, has a partial conic outer surface, and has a structure symmetrical to the first transmission when viewing the bicycle from the front; and a belt connected to the first ad the second transmission. A small diameter unit of the first transmission and a large diameter unit of the second transmission, and a large diameter unit of the first transmission and a small diameter unit of the second transmission are on identical planes. Gears are shifted while the belt reciprocates in an axial direction of the first and the second transmission. Therefore, an impact by a step can be prevented when shifting gears. A structure is simple to facilitate manufacture. A weight is greatly reduced.

    본 발명은 자전거용 무단 변속기에 관한 것으로서, 자전거의 주 구동축에 설치되며 부분 원뿔형의 외면을 가지는 제1 변속기; 자전거의 뒷바퀴축에 설치되고 부분 원뿔형의 외면을 가지며, 자전거를 정면에서 바라볼 때 상기 제1 변속기와 대칭의 구조를 가지는 제2 변속기; 및, 상기 제1 변속기와 제2 변속기에 연결되는 벨트를 포함하되, 상기 제1 변속기의 소경부와 상기 제2 변속기의 대경부, 및 상기 제1 변속기의 대경부와 상기 제2 변속기의 소경부는 각각 동일 평면상에 있고, 상기 벨트가 상기 제1 변속기와 제2 변속기의 축방향을 따라 왕복 이동하면서 변속이 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하므로, 변속시 단차로 인한 충격을 방지할 수 있다는 이점이 있고, 구조가 간단하여 제작이 용이하며, 자중이 크게 줄어드는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
