The method for predicting the state of health (SOH) of a battery according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a step of calculating the measurement value of a charging time required for each predetermined voltage interval in a predetermined voltage range for charging the battery, a step of calculating the estimate of the charging time required for each voltage interval by a predetermined battery metamodel; and a step of predicting SOH having the lowest error between the measurement value of the required charging time and the predicted value of the required charging time by making the predicted value of the required charging time repeatedly approach the measurement value of the required charging time. It is possible to predict the battery SOH even without SOH information.

    본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 SOH 추정 방법은, 배터리를 충전하는 기설정된 전압 범위에서 기설정된 전압간격별 충전 소요 시간의 측정치를 산출하는 단계, 기설정된 배터리 메타 모델에 의해 전압간격별 충전 소요 시간의 추정치를 산출하는 단계 및 상기 충전 소요 시간의 추정치가 반복적으로 충전 소요 시간의 측정치에 접근하도록 하여 상기 충전 소요 시간의 측정치와 상기 충전 소요 시간의 추정치의 오차가 가장 낮은 SOH(State Of Health)를 추정하는 단계를 포함한다.
