The present invention relates to a transformer having a no-load loss prevention function which is composed of a core; and primary and secondary wires wound around the core so as to be embedded in a charger of an electric vehicle. Especially, a no-load detection circuit is connected between both terminals of the secondary wire so as to be turned off to block power supply when an on duty of pulse voltage derived in the secondary wire is smaller than a predetermined value, thereby preventing a no-load loss.

    본 발명은 철심과, 상기 철심에 감겨 있는 1차측 권선과 2차측 권선을 포함하여 구성되어 전기자동차 충전기에 내장되는 무부하 손실 방지기능을 갖는 변압기에 관한 것으로서, 특히 상기 2차측 권선의 양 단자 사이에는 무부하 검출회로가 접속되어, 2차측 권선에 야기되는 펄스 전압의 온 듀티(On Duty)가 소정의 값 미만일 경우 오프(Off)되어 전력공급이 차단되어, 무부하 손실을 방지할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
