The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for diagnosing the deterioration of a battery in an eco-vehicle. The apparatus includes a battery, a charger for charging the battery using commercial power, a voltage detector for measuring the output voltage of the battery, and a battery controller which collects a first battery voltage through the voltage detector immediately after the completion of charging the battery, collects a second battery voltage through the voltage detector when a preset time elapses, calculates a polarization voltage using the first battery voltage and the second battery voltage, and calculates the deterioration of the battery using the calculated polarization voltage.

    본 발명은 친환경 차량의 배터리 열화도 진단장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 배터리, 상용전원을 이용하여 상기 배터리를 충전하는 충전기, 상기 배터리의 출력전압을 측정하는 전압검출기, 및 상기 배터리의 충전종료 직후 상기 전압검출기를 통해 제1배터리 전압을 수집한 후 설정 시간이 경과하면 상기 전압검출기를 통해 제2배터리 전압을 수집하고, 상기 제1배터리 전압과 상기 제2배터리 전압을 이용하여 분극전압을 연산하며 연산된 분극전압을 이용하여 배터리 열화도를 산출하는 배터리 제어기를 포함한다.
