The present invention relates to an on-board diagnostics (OBD) device for transmitting an asynchronous radio signal. According to the present invention, the OBD device for transmitting an asynchronous radio signal, which is connectable to an OBD port of a vehicle, comprises: a body unit having a terminal connectable to the OBD port of the vehicle; a power supply unit receiving power from the vehicle through the OBD port; a power conversion unit converting the vehicle power into at least one designated operation power; and a chip module operating through at least one power including operating power converted from the vehicle power supplied from the vehicle to provide Wi-Fi communication or to transmit an asynchronous radio signal, and controlling the asynchronous radio signal to be transmitted at an output amplified than an output of a low energy mode, or a maximum output amplifiable within an available range through the vehicle power, when transmitting the asynchronous radio signal by using the vehicle power.

    본 발명은 비동기 무선신호를 송출하는 오비디장치에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 비동기 무선신호를 송출하는 오비디장치는, 차량의 OBD(On-Board Diagnostics)포트에 연결 가능한 오비디장치에 있어서, 차량의 OBD포트에 연결 가능한 단자를 구비한 몸통부와 상기 OBD포트를 통해 상기 차량으로부터 전원을 공급받는 전원 공급부와 상기 차량 전원을 적어도 하나의 지정된 동작 전원으로 변환하는 전원 변환부 및 상기 차량으로부터 공급되는 차량 전원을 변환한 동작 전원을 포함하는 적어도 하나의 전원을 통해 동작하여 와이파이 통신을 제공하거나 비동기 무선신호를 송출하며, 상기 차량 전원을 이용하여 비동기 무선신호를 송출하는 경우 상기 차량 전원을 통해 가용 범위 내에서 증폭 가능한 최대 출력 또는 저전원(Low Energy) 모드의 출력보다 증폭된 출력으로 상기 비동기 무선신호를 송출하도록 제어하는 칩모듈을 구비한다.
