The present invention comprises: a first step of determining whether a handle of a vehicle is steered; a second step of measuring a discharge pressure of a pump supplying hydraulic pressure to a gear box of the handle and determining whether or not the discharge pressure exceeds a preset prescribed value; and a third step of driving in an idle stop and go (ISG) mode when the discharge pressure of the pump is equal to or lower than the preset prescribed value. The present invention intends to provide a steering system for a commercial vehicle capable of implementing an ISG function.

    본 발명은 차량 핸들의 조향 여부를 판단하는 제1단계와 상기 제1단계에서 상기 핸들의 조향이 이루어지는 것으로 판단되면, 상기 핸들의 기어박스로 유압을 공급하는 펌프의 토출 압력을 측정하여 기설정된 규정 값을 초과하였는지 여부를 판단하는 제2단계 및 상기 펌프의 토출 압력이 상기 기설정된 규정 값 이하인 것으로 판단되면, ISG(Idle Stop & Go) 모드로 구동되도록 하는 제3단계를 포함한다.
