An Internal combustion engine (1), preferably a two-stroke engine for a large vessel, comprises an exhaust outlet (2) for disposing of exhaust out of a combustion chamber and an air inlet (3) for introducing air into the combustion chamber. At least one turbocharger (4) is connected to the exhaust outlet (2) by an exhaust passage (5) wherein a particulate filter device (6) is arranged in the downstream of the exhaust outlet (2) on the high pressure side of the turbocharger, in particular of a turbine of the turbocharger, preferably in the exhaust passage (5).

    대형 선박을 위한 내연 엔진(1), 바람직하게는 2-행정 엔진은, 배기를 연소실 밖으로 처리하기 위한 배기 출구(2) 및 공기를 연소실 안으로 도입하기 위한 공기 입구(3)를 포함한다. 적어도 하나의 터보 과급기(4)가 배기 통로(5)에 의해 배기 출구(2)에 연결되어 있고, 바람직하게는 배기 통로(5)에서 미립자 필터 장치(6)가 배기 출구(2)의 하류에서 터보 과급기의 고압측, 특히 터보 과급기 터빈의 고압측에 배치되어 있다.
