According to an embodiment, a vehicle driving assistance apparatus comprises: a communication transmitting data to a near vehicle and receiving the data from the near vehicle; a sensor unit sensing a periphery of a vehicle; and a processor determining a lane changing position from peripheral information of the vehicle. The processor determines a lane changing candidate position in accordance with the peripheral information of the vehicle, transmitting a lane changing cooperation request to the near vehicle related to the lane changing candidate position through the communication unit, and confirming the lane changing position in accordance with feedback of the near vehicle with respect to the cooperation request.
실시예에 따른 차량 운전 보조장치는 인접차량과 데이터를 송수신하는 통신부, 차량 주변을 감지하는 센서부 및 상기 차량 주변 정보로부터 차선변경 위치를 결정하는 프로세서를 포함하고, 프로세서는, 차량 주변 정보에 따라서 차선변경 후보위치를 결정하고, 통신부를 통해 차선변경 후보위치와 관련된 인접차량에게 차선변경 협조요청을 전송하고, 협조요청에 대한 인접차량의 피드백(feedback)에 따라서 차선변경 위치를 확정한다.
