The present invention relates to a power supply unit for an electrolytic cell capable of measuring an electric current applied to an electrolytic cell to check efficient operation of a current controller and aging state of the cell, and further predict a service life of the electrolytic cell. According to the present invention, the power supply unit for an electrolytic cell comprises: a rectifying unit for receiving and rectifying an alternating current; a DC link unit connected in parallel to the rectifying unit and charging the rectified electric charge; a converter unit connected in parallel to the DC link unit to output a DC current; a current measuring unit connected to an anode terminal of the electrolytic cell to which the DC current is applied from the converter unit for measuring the magnitude of the DC current flowing to the anode terminal over time; and a control unit for controlling the current applied to the electrolytic cell by controlling the converter unit.

    본 발명은 전해조에 인가되는 전류를 측정하여, 전류제어기의 효율적인 작동 및 전해조의 노후 상태 나아가, 전해조의 사용수명을 예측할 수 있는 전해조 전원공급장치에 관한 것이다. 이러한 전해조 전원공급장치는 교류를 인가받아 정류하는 정류부, 정류부에 병렬 연결되어, 정류된 전하를 충전하는 직류링크부, 직류링크부에 병렬 연결되어, 직류전류를 출력하는 컨버터부, 컨버터부로부터 직류전류가 인가되는 전해조의 양극단자에 연결되어 양극단자에 흐르는 직류전류의 크기를 시간에 따라 측정하는 전류측정부 및 컨버터부를 제어하여 전해조에 인가되는 전류를 제어하는 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.
