Disclosed are a server and method for detecting the state of a vehicle, which are capable of determining the state of a vehicle by using the location information of a terminal and the vehicle and notifying a user of the determined state of the vehicle. The server for detecting the state of a vehicle comprises: a location information reception unit which receives at least one piece of first location information from a terminal and receives at least one piece of second location information from a vehicle; a distance information calculation unit which calculates the distance between the terminal and the vehicle by using the first location information and the second location information; and a vehicle state determination unit which determines the state of the vehicle by using the calculated distance.

    차량 상태 탐지 서버가 개시된다. 상기 차량 상태 탐지 서버는 단말기로부터 적어도 하나의 제1 위치 정보를 수신하고, 차량으로부터 적어도 하나의 제2 위치 정보를 수신하는 위치 정보 수신부, 상기 제1 위치 정보와 상기 제2 위치 정보를 이용하여 상기 단말기와 상기 챠량의 거리를 산출하는 거리 정보 산출부, 및 산출된 거리를 이용하여 상기 차량의 상태를 판단하는 차량 상태 판단부를 포함한다.
