An apparatus for providing traffic signal information according to the present embodiment includes a data receiving part for receiving traffic light operation status information received from a traffic light information providing apparatus; a traffic light recognition part for recognizing a traffic light based on the running direction of a vehicle; a control part for comparing the traffic light operation status information received through the data receiving part with the traffic light display status information recognized by the traffic light recognition part and outputting traffic light information according to the comparison result; and an output part for outputting the traffic light information. So, it is possible to easily provide the traffic light information to a user.

    본 실시 예에 따른 교통신호 정보 제공장치는 신호등 정보 제공장치로부터 수신되는 신호등 동작 상태 정보를 수신하는 데이터 수신부; 차량의 주행 방향에 기초하여 신호등을 인식하는 신호등 인식부; 상기 데이터 수신부를 통해 수신된 신호등 동작 상태 정보와 상기 신호등 인식부를 통해 인식된 신호등 표시 상태 정보를 비교하고, 상기 비교 결과에 따라 신호등 정보를 출력하는 제어부; 상기 신호등 정보를 출력하는 출력부;를 포함한다.
