The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling the power supply of a battery and a method thereof. The apparatus for controlling the power supply of the battery supplies battery power to all sorts of loads in the vehicle simply by enabling a driver to release a door lock using a key by supplying the power of the battery to the load through rotation of the key for releasing the door lock, under the state that the power of the battery supplied to the loads in the vehicle is blocked to preventing overdischarge. To this end, the apparatus for controlling the power supply of the battery according to the present invention includes: a relay supplying or blocking power of the battery to the loads in the vehicle; a voltage generator generating a voltage; and a switch enabling the power of the battery to be supplied to the loads in the vehicle by driving the relay when the voltage is applied.

    본 발명은 배터리의 전원 공급 제어 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 과방전 방지를 위해 차량 내 각종 부하로 공급되는 배터리 전원이 차단된 상태에서, 도어락 해제를 위한 키의 회전에 의해 배터리의 전원이 부하로 공급되도록 함으로써, 운전자로 하여금 키를 이용하여 도어락을 해제하는 행위만으로 간편하게 차량 내 각종 부하에 배터리의 전원을 공급할 수 있도록 하는 배터리의 전원 공급 제어 장치 및 그 방법을 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위하여, 본 발명은 배터리의 전원 공급 제어 장치에 있어서, 차량 내 각종 부하로 배터리의 전원을 공급 또는 차단하는 릴레이; 전압을 발생시키는 전압 발생기; 및 상기 전압이 인가되면 릴레이를 구동시켜 차량 내 각종 부하로 배터리의 전원이 공급되도록 하는 스위치를 포함한다.
