Disclosed is a traffic signal controller equipped with a solar panel. The traffic signal controller equipped with a solar panel comprises: a solar panel; a charge unit charging power generated by the solar panel; a DC-DC converter converting a direct voltage output from the charge unit; and a control unit generating a control signal for a traffic lamp using the direct voltage output from the DC-DC converter. According to the present invention, the traffic signal controller equipped with a solar panel can use power generated from the provided solar panel when controlling a traffic signal and supplying power to the traffic signal, and can remarkably reduce consumed power by adopting a DC output method to supply power to a traffic single or the like. In addition, the traffic signal controller can be miniaturized by adopting the DC output method, which enables decentralization of a traffic control system.

    태양광 패널을 구비한 교통 신호 제어기가 개시된다. 본 발명은, 태양광 패널, 태양광 패널에 의해 발생된 전력을 충전하는 충전부, 충전부로부터 출력되는 직류 전압을 변환하는 DC-DC 컨버터, 및 DC-DC 컨버터로부터 출력되는 직류 전압을 이용하여 신호등의 제어 신호를 생성하는 제어부를 구비한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 교통 신호 제어기에 의한 교통 신호등의 제어 및 교통 신호등으로의 전력 공급에 있어서 자체적으로 구비된 태양광 패널로부터 발전되는 전력을 활용함과 동시에, 교통 신호등으로의 전력 공급에 있어서 DC 출력 방식을 채택함으로써 소비 전력을 획기적으로 절감할 수 있게 된다. 아울러, 본 발명에 따르면, DC 출력 방식을 채택함으로써 교통 신호 제어기의 소형화가 가능하게 되고, 그에 따라 교통 제어 시스템의 분산화가 가능하게 된다.
