The present invention relates to a battery replacement apparatus for an electric vehicle and a battery replacement method using the same, and more particularly, to a battery replacement apparatus capable of attachably detaching a battery from a battery mounting position provided inside an electric vehicle to quickly transfer and charge the discharged battery, and transferring and mounting a charged battery to the battery mounting position such that the operation of the electric vehicle is not necessarily stopped during charging the battery. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a transfer module performing a battery transfer function; a charging module performing a charging function of a discharged battery; and a housing in which the charging module and the transfer module mounted, performing a supporting function of the transfer and charging modules. The apparatus further comprises a lifting device capable of adjusting the height such that the transfer module matches to the battery mounting position and forming a slanted surface so such that detachment/attachment of the battery is quickly and easily performed, so detachment/attachment, transfer and charging of the battery are collectively performed.

    본 발명은, 전기차량 내부에 마련된 배터리장착위치로부터 배터리를 탈착하여 신속하게 이송하고, 방전된 배터리를 빠르게 충전하며, 기 충전된 배터리를 배터리장착위치로 이송 및 탑재하여 배터리를 충전하는 동안 차량의 작동을 중단할 필요가 없는 전기차량의 배터리교환장치에 관한 것으로, 배터리를 이송하는 기능을 수행하는 이송모듈, 방전된 배터리를 충전하는 기능을 수행하는 충전모듈 및 이송모듈과 충전모듈이 탑재되고 이를 지지하는 기능을 수행하는 하우징을 포함하여 이루어지되, 이송모듈과 배터리장착위치가 일치하도록 고도를 조절하고, 경사면을 형성하여 배터리의 탈착 및 장착을 보다 신속하고 용이하게 할 수 있는 리프팅장치를 더 구비하여 배터리의 탈장착, 이송 및 충전을 일괄적으로 수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기차량용 배터리교환장치를 제공한다.
