The present invention relates to an expansion valve for an air conditioner of a vehicle, which throttles a refrigerant, flowing from a compressor, supplies the refrigerant to an evaporator, and has an open degree which is controlled by the refrigerant flowing from the evaporator and then being discharged to the compressor. The expansion valve for an air conditioner of a vehicle comprises: a valve main body which has a first port in which a refrigerant inserted from the compressor and a second port in which the throttled refrigerant is supplied to the evaporator and includes a throttle flow channel, which throttles the refrigerant having flowed in through the first port, and an inner flow channel which communicates with the first port and discharges the refrigerant, having flowed in the first port, through the throttle flow channel; a valve unit which has a sleeve for adjusting an open degree of the throttle flow channel and a support spring which is installed on the inner flow channel and elastically supports the sleeve; and a nut member which is arranged on the inside of the inner flow channel, supports the valve unit from the downside, and is closely attached to the inside of the inner flow channel to make a lower end portion close the inner flow channel. Accordingly, the support spring, which allows an insertion unit of the nut member to be inserted into the inside thereof, is formed to be long to prevent the support spring from being exposed to the outside of the insertion unit. Therefore, deformation of the support spring caused by the refrigerant flowing in the first port can be prevented. As deformation of the support spring caused by refrigerant is prevented by the nut member, the sleeve, arranged on the support spring, is placed in a correct location. Therefore, noise, generated when the sleeve is placed in an abnormal location, can be prevented.

    본 발명은 응축기로부터 유입되는 냉매를 교축시켜 증발기에 공급하고, 상기 증발기로부터 유입되어 압축기로 유출되는 냉매에 의하여 개도가 제어되는 차량의 공기조화장치용 팽창밸브에 있어서, 상기 응축기로부터 냉매가 유입되는 제1포트, 교축된 냉매가 상기 증발기로 공급되는 제2포트를 구비하며, 내부에는 상기 제1포트로 유입된 냉매가 교축되는 교축유로와, 상기 제1포트와 연통되며 상기 제1포트로 유입된 상기 냉매를 상기 교축유로로 유출하는 내부유로가 형성된 밸브본체; 상기 교축유로의 개도를 조절하는 슬리브와, 상기 내부유로 상에 설치되어 상기 슬리브를 탄력적으로 지지하는 지지스프링을 구비하는 밸브부; 및 상기 내부유로의 내측면에 구비되어 상기 밸브부를 하부에서 지지하며, 하부단이 상기 내부유로를 밀폐시키도록 상기 내부유로의 내측면에 밀착고정되는 너트부재를 포함하는 공기조화장치용 팽창밸브를 제공한다. 따라서, 너트부재의 삽입부가 내측에 삽입되는 지지스프링을 삽입부의 외부로 노출시키지 않도록 길게 형성됨으로써 제1포트로 유입되는 냉매에 의해 지지스프링이 변형되는 것을 방지할 수 있고, 너트부재에 의해 지지스프링이 냉매에 의해 변형되는 것이 방지됨으로써 지지스프링의 상부에 구비되는 슬리브가 정위치에 위치함으로써 슬리브가 비정상적인 위치 시 발생하는 소음을 방지할 수 있다.
