The present invention relates to a water cooling type eddy current retarder, and more particularly, to an eddy current retarder which includes a rotor for generating a magnetic field, and a stator of conductor characteristic for generating an eddy current in response to the rotation of the rotor. The water cooling type eddy current retarder cools the stator by cooling water which flows into or out of the stator. The water cooling type eddy current retarder includes a shaft, a rotor, a stator, and a cooling flowing part.

    본 발명은 수랭식 와전류 리타더에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 자기장을 발생시키는 로터와, 상기 로터의 회전에 대응하여 와전류를 발생시키는 도체성질의 스테이터를 포함하는 와전류 리타더이되, 상기 스테이터 내부로 유출입되는 냉각수에 의해 상기 스테이터를 냉각시키는 수랭식 와전류 리타더에 관한 것이다.
