Disclosed is a method for controlling volume of a liquefied natural gas in a storage tank for an FLNG including a number of membrane type storage tanks and an independent storage tank installed at a stem part or a stern part. According to the method for controlling the volume of the liquefied natural gas in the storage tank for the FLNG, a natural gas liquefied in a natural gas liquefaction facility is sent to the independent storage tank, and the liquefied natural gas sent to the independent storage tank is sent to the membrane type storage tank located at an opposite side to the independent storage tank. After 30% of the membrane type storage tank located at the opposite side to the independent storage tank is filled with the liquefied natural gas, the liquefied natural gas is sent to membrane type storage tanks at a center from the independent storage tank. After 30% of the membrane type storage tanks at the center is filled with the liquefied natural gas, the liquefied natural gas is sent to the membrane type storage tank located at the opposite side to the independent storage tank from the independent storage tank. After 70% of the membrane type storage tank located at the opposite side to the independent storage tank is filled with the liquefied natural gas, the liquefied natural gas is sent to the membrane type storage tanks at the center from the independent storage tank. After 70% of the membrane type storage tanks at the center is filled with the liquefied natural gas, the rest part of the membrane type storage tanks and the independent storage tank are filled with the liquefied natural gas.

    다수개의 멤브레인형 저장탱크와 선수부 또는 선미부에 설치되는 독립형 저장탱크를 포함하는 FLNG용 저장탱크 내부의 액화천연가스 양 제어 방법이 개시된다. 상기 FLNG용 저장탱크 내부의 액화천연가스 양 제어 방법은, 천연가스 액화설비에서 액화된 천연가스는 상기 독립형 저장탱크로 보내지고, 상기 독립형 저장탱크로 보내진 액화천연가스는 상기 독립형 저장탱크의 반대편에 위치한 멤브레인형 저장탱크로 보내지고, 상기 독립형 저장탱크의 반대편에 위치한 멤브레인형 저장탱크의 30%가 액화천연가스로 채워진 후, 상기 독립형 저장탱크로부터 중앙부 멤브레인형 저장탱크들로 액화천연가스가 보내지고, 상기 중앙부 멤브레인형 저장탱크들의 30%가 모두 액화천연가스로 채워진 후, 상기 독립형 저장탱크로부터 상기 독립형 저장탱크의 반대편에 위치한 멤브레인형 저장탱크로 액화천연가스가 보내지고, 상기 독립형 저장탱크의 반대편에 위치한 멤브레인형 저장탱크의 70%가 액화천연가스로 채워진 후, 상기 독립형 저장탱크로부터 상기 중앙부 멤브레인형 저장탱크들로 액화천연가스가 보내지고, 상기 중앙부 멤브레인형 저장탱크들의 70%가 액화천연가스로 채워진 후, 상기 독립형 저장탱크 및 상기 다수개의 멤브레인형 저장탱크의 남은 부분이 액화천연가스로 채워진다.
