The present invention relates to a heat-shielding plate of an exhaust system to improve the efficiency of a thermoelectric element of a vehicle′s engine, securing heat energy by allowing a thermoelectric element to reach the hot side′s maximum temperature when performing thermoelectric generation using exhaust heat, thereby achieving maximum efficiency of electricity generation. Each of a water jacket (1), a cold spreader (2), a thermoelectric element (3) and a hot spreader (4) is divided into two parts and is sequentially arranged from the upper side, and heat-shielding plates (5-7) of an exhaust system are arranged on both ends and the center of the hot spreader (4), respectively. Heat-shielding plates (5-7) of the exhaust system are preferably arranged to have a size, which does not cover the thermoelectric element (3). Accordingly, radiant heat energy of the exhaust system of the engine is directly transferred to the hot spreader (4) without interruption by the heat-shielding plates (5-7) of the exhaust system such that hot side temperature is increased to the maximum allowable temperature of the thermoelectric element (3), thereby achieving maximum efficiency of the thermoelectric element (3).

    본 발명은 차량 엔진의 열전소자 효율향상을 위한 배기계 차열판에 관한 것으로, 배기열을 이용한 열전발전시 열전소자의 핫 사이드 최대온도 도달을 위한 열에너지 확보를 통해 최대발전효율을 구현할 수 있도록 한 것이다. 본 발명은 워터 재킷(1), 콜드 스프레더(2), 열전소자(3), 핫 스프레더(4)를 각각 2부분으로 나누어 위에서부터 차례로 배치하고 상기 핫 스프레더(4)의 양끝단과 중심부분에 각각 배기계 차열판(5-7)을 배치하는데 상기 배기계 차열판(5-7)은 열전소자(3)를 가리지 않는 크기로 배열하는 것이 바람직하며, 이에 따라 엔진 배기계 복사열 에너지가 상기 배기계 차열판(5-7)에 의해 방해받지 않고 직접 핫 스프레더(4)로 전달되므로 핫 사이드 온도를 열전소자(3) 허용최고온도까지 높여 열전소자(3)의 최대효율을 구현할 수 있다.
