The present invention provides an automatic brake system which comprises: a weather information acquisition module acquiring weather information; a vehicle information acquisition module acquiring vehicle information with respect to a preceding vehicle while driving; and a control module varying a brake time depending on a brake distance which is set in accordance with the weather information to operate a brake when determining a collision with the preceding vehicle based on the vehicle information.

    본 발명은, 기상정보를 획득하는 기상정보획득모듈, 주행 중 전방차량에 대한 차량정보를 획득하는 차량정보획득모듈 및 상기 차량정보를 기반으로 상기 전방차량과의 충돌 판단시, 상기 기상정보에 따라 설정된 제동거리에 따라 제동시점을 가변시켜 브레이크를 동작시키는 제어모듈을 포함하는 자동제동 시스템을 제공한다.
