An insulation material combining structure according to an embodiment of the present invention can include: multiple main insulation materials which are combined with the outer surface of the storage tank by being separated in a fixed interval; and an auxiliary insulation material which is formed with a material with better elasticity than the main insulation material, and is provided to be filled among the multiple main insulation materials. Moreover, an insulation material construction method of the storage tank according to another embodiment of the present invention can include: a main insulation material providing step of providing the main insulation material to each space among flanges formed by protruding from the outer surface of the storage tank in a grid structure; a main insulation material combining step of inserting a bolt member into an insulation hole formed on the main insulation material, and combining the bolt member with the outer surface of the storage tank through a screw; and an auxiliary insulation material combining step of providing the auxiliary insulation material having better elasticity than the main insulation material to be filled between the main insulation material and the flange, and combining the main insulation material and the flange with the auxiliary insulation material by bonding. The insulation material combining structure and the construction method thereof can prevent deviation due to damage to the main insulation material by thermal strain of the storage tank.

    본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 저장탱크의 단열재 결합구조는 저장탱크의 외면에 복수 개가 일정 간격으로 이격되어 결합되는 주단열재 및 상기 주단열재보다 신축성이 좋은 소재로 형성되며, 복수의 상기 주단열재 사이를 메우게 제공되는 보조단열재를 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 저장탱크의 단열재 시공방법은 저장탱크의 외면에 격자 구조로 돌출되어 형성된 플랜지 사이의 공간 각각에 주단열재를 제공하는 주단열재 제공단계, 상기 주단열재에 형성된 삽입홀로 볼트부재를 삽입하며, 상기 볼트부재를 상기 저장탱크의 외면과 나사결합하는 주단열재 결합단계 및 상기 주단열재보다 신축성이 좋은 보조단열재를, 상기 주단열재와 상기 플랜지 사이를 메우게 제공하며, 상기 주단열재 및 플랜지를 상기 보조단열재와 본딩으로 결합시키는 보조단열재 결합단계를 포함할 수 있다.
