According to the present invention, a power transfer device (130) comprises an inverter (142), a power transfer unit (132), and an electronic control device (170). The electronic control device (170) is configured to adjust a frequency of AC power in a direction in which an advance angle of a current phase gets smaller when it is detected that the current phase of an output current of the power transfer unit (132) from the inverter (142) advances with respect to an output voltage.
