The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling an adaptive front lighting system. The apparatus for controlling an adaptive front lighting system comprises: a motor to rotate a projection module; a receiving unit to receive a vehicle speed and a driving mode of a vehicle from a driving information provider; and a control unit to calculate a drive pattern to a target location of the projection module based on the vehicle speed and the driving mode of the vehicle received by the receiving unit, and control the motor according to the calculated drive pattern.
본 발명은 적응형 전조등 시스템의 제어장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 프로젝션 모듈을 회전시키기 위한 모터, 주행 정보 제공처로부터 차량의 차속 및 주행모드를 수신하기 위한 수신부 및 상기 수신부를 통해 수신된 차량의 차속 및 주행모드에 근거하여 상기 프로젝션 모듈의 목표위치까지의 구동패턴을 산출하고, 상기 산출된 구동패턴에 따라 상기 모터를 제어하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
