Disclosed are plywood for an insulation structure and a manufacturing method thereof. The plywood for an insulation structure, which is prepared in a liquefied gas tank of a ship, comprises: a laminated wood board which forms a structural member in an installation structure of a ship; a water repellent coating part which is coated on one or more surfaces of the laminated wood board. Therefore, the present invention reduces thermal conductivity through the plywood by lowering the water content of the laminated wood board through the water repellent coating part.

    단열 구조용 플라이우드 및 그 제작방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 단열 구조용 플라이우드는, 선박의 액화가스 화물창에 마련되는 단열 구조용 플라이우드(plywood)에 있어서, 상기 선박의 단열 구조에서 구조재를 이루는 집성판; 및 상기 집성판의 적어도 하나의 표면에 코팅되는 발수코팅부를 포함하여, 상기 발수코팅부를 통해 상기 집성판의 함수율을 낮추어 상기 플라이우드를 통한 열전도율을 저감시킬 수 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.
