The present invention relates to a method to start a ship engine, comprising: a step (a) of filling ballast water; a step (b) of confirming whether the ballast water is filled according to a set reference amount when the starting button of a ship is turned on; and a step (c) of starting a ship engine if the ballast water is filled according to a set reference amount. Therefore, the present invention starts the ship engine only in the case that the ballast water is filled according to the reference amount by confirming the amount of the ballast water before starting, thereby fundamentally preventing the ship from sailing in a state that the ship has insufficient restoring force.

    본 발명은 선박 엔진 시동 방법에 관한 것으로서, (a) 선박의 평형수를 채우는 단계; (b) 선박의 시동 버튼이 온되면 평형수가 설정된 기준량에 충족되는지 여부를 확인하는 단계; 및 (c) 평형수가 설정된 기준량을 충족하는 경우에 선박의 엔진이 시동되는 단계를 포함하는 구성을 마련하여, 시동 전 평형수의 양을 확인하여 기준량을 충족하는 경우에만 선박 엔진이 시동될 수 있도록 하여 선박이 복원력이 부족한 상태에서 운항을 하는 것을 원천적으로 차단할 수 있다는 효과가 얻어진다.
