Disclosed are a system to ventilate a cargo tank of a container ship, and a method of controlling the same. According to the present invention, the system to ventilate the cargo tank of the container ship and the method to control the same controls an amount of airstream supplied to a cargo tank in accordance with the outdoor air. That is, if the outdoor air temperature is low, the temperature of the cargo tank can be lowered to a target temperature with a small amount of outdoor air, thus reducing the amount of outdoor air by reducing a rotational speed of the blowing fan. However, when the outdoor air temperature is high, a large amount of outdoor air is required to lower the temperature of the cargo tank to the target temperature; thereby the outdoor air airstream is increased to increase the amount of outdoor air supplied to the cargo tank by elevating the rotational speed of the blowing fan, thus saving energy as the power consumption of the blowing unit including the blowing fan can be reduced. Moreover, maintenance costs can be reduced as the operating part of the blowing unit which rotates the blowing fan can be used for a long time.

    컨테이너선 화물창의 환기시스템 및 그 제어방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 컨테이너선 화물창의 환기시스템 및 그 제어방법은 외기 온도에 따라 화물창으로 공급하는 송풍량을 조절한다. 즉, 외기 온도가 낮으면, 적은 양의 외기로도 화물창의 온도를 목표로 하는 온도로 낮출 수 있으므로 송풍팬의 회전속도를 감소시켜 화물창으로 공급되는 외기의 양을 감소시킨다. 그리고, 외기 온도가 높으면, 화물창의 온도를 목표로 하는 온도로 낮추기 위해서는 많의 양의 외기가 필요하므로 송풍팬의 회전속도를 상승시켜 화물창으로 공급되는 외기의 양을 증가시킨다. 그러므로, 송풍팬을 포함한 송풍유닛의 소비 전력을 줄일 수 있으므로 에너지를 절감할 수 있다. 그리고, 송풍팬을 회전시키는 송풍유닛의 구동부를 장시간 사용할 수 있으므로, 유지 보수 비용을 절감할 수 있다.
