The present invention relates to an impact cushioning device for a free-fall lifeboat. The impact cushioning device for a free-fall lifeboat comprises: a distance measuring sensor disposed on a stem or a stern of a lifeboat to measure a height between the lifeboat and a water surface; a plurality of air bags disposed on the lifeboat, and expanded by a signal inputted from the distance measuring sensor; and a net connected to the air bags and disposed outside the stem of the lifeboat. When the lifeboat freely falls, the air bags are deployed to reduce a falling speed of the lifeboat and absorb an impact applied to the lifeboat by the air bags to lessen the impact applied to the lifeboat and to the crew members.

    자유낙하식 구명정의 충격완화장치에 관한 것으로, 구명정의 선수 또는 선미에 상기 구명정과 수면과의 높이를 측정하는 거리측정센서, 상기 거리측정센서로부터 입력된 신호에 의해 팽창되며 상기 구명정에 다수로 마련되는 공기주머니, 상기 공기주머니 각각에 연결되며 상기 구명정의 선수 외측에 마련되는 그물망을 마련하여 구명정의 자유낙하 시 공기주머니가 전개됨에 따라 구명정의 낙하 속도를 저감시킬 수 있으며, 공기주머니에 의해 구명정에 가해지는 충격을 흡수하여 구명정에 가해지는 충격 및 승조원들에게 가해지는 충격을 줄일 수 있다는 효과가 얻어진다.
