Disclosed is a brake master cylinder. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the brake master cylinder comprises: a cylinder body having a hollow portion; a piston provided to be reciprocally move in the hollow portion of the cylinder body; and a BLS sensor module which is installed in the master cylinder, detects movement according to the reciprocal motion of the piston, and controls lighting of a brake lamp. The BLS sensor module includes: a magnet housing which is spaced apart from the hollowing portion at a certain distance, and is provided to be slid in a guide hole formed in the longitudinal direction in the cylinder body; an actuating member which is coupled to the piston, and moves the magnet housing along with the movement of the piston; an elastic member which is provided in the guide hole, and elastically supports the magnet housing; and a hall sensor which is installed in the cylinder body to correspond to a magnet installed in the magnet housing, and senses the magnetic flux density according to the reciprocal motion of the piston.
