The present invention relates to a system and a method to prevent electrolyte gas from flowing into an eco-friendly vehicle and, more specifically, to a system and a method to prevent electrolyte gas from flowing into an eco-friendly vehicle, capable of easily preventing electrolyte gas, leaked from a battery cell, from flowing into a vehicle. In other words, since a connection duct between an indoor part and a battery module installation space is closed by determining that electrolyte is leaked when an increase rate exceeds a reference value after a voltage deviation between battery cells of a battery module or the connection duct is closed when carbon dioxide gas by overcharging in the battery module exceeds a reference value, the present invention is capable of easily preventing harmful gas, made by the battery module, from flowing into the vehicle.
