A hybrid vehicle comprises at least one vehicle shaft; an energy storage device arranged inside the hybrid vehicle; a fuel consumption engine; a power supercharging part; and a controller. The fuel consumption engine is connected to be operated for selectively providing a driving force to at least one energy storage device and at least one vehicle shaft. The engine provides at least average power but within a peak for driving the hybrid vehicle in a typical path. The power supercharging part provides an additional power to the fuel consumption engine for achieving power necessary to accelerate the hybrid vehicle. The controller selectively controls power flow from one or more energy storage devices, the fuel consumption engine, and the power supercharging part to at least one vehicle shaft for achieving the needed power.
