The present invention relates to a cooling system and, more specifically, to a cooling system in a maritime outboard engine, which improves cooling efficiency by cooling the outboard engine through water including seawater outside a hull without the use of an existing seawater cooling method; prevents the corrosion of components inside the outboard engine and extends the service life of the engine by cooling the outboard engine through a closed cooling system without the direct contact between an engine cylinder block and water outside the hull; rapidly cools the outboard engine and produces high accelerating force during the warming up of the engine by controlling the circulation of cooling water with the separate application of a thermostat, a temperature sensor, and a bypass line; and increases engine output and reduces fuel consumption by optimizing the temperature of the engine and improving thermal efficiency.

    본 발명은 냉각 시스템에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 해상용 선외기에 있어 기존의 해수 냉각 방식을 사용하지 않고, 해수를 포함한 선체 외부의 물을 사용하여 선외기를 냉각하여 효율을 높이면서도 선체 외부의 물이 엔진 실린더 블록에 직접적으로 닿지 않도록 간접 냉각 방식(closed cooling system)을 이용하여 선외기를 냉각함으로써, 선외기 내부 부품의 부식을 방지하고 엔진 수명을 높이는 것과 더불어, 별도의 섬머스탯, 온도 센서 및 바이패스 라인을 적용하여 냉각수의 순환을 조절함으로써 선외기 엔진의 빠른 냉각을 도모할 수 있음은 물론, 엔진 웜업시 보다 빠른 가속력을 낼 수 있으며, 엔진의 온도가 최적화되어 열효율을 높임으로써 엔진 출력을 증가시킬 수 있고 연료의 절감 효과 또한 달성할 수 있는 선외기용 간접 냉각 시스템에 관한 것이다.
