본 발명은 차량용 공조장치에 관한 것으로서, 광촉매 모듈의 설치위치를 개선함으로써, 광촉매 모듈에서 발생된 과산소 라디칼이 보다 많은 양의 공기와 접촉할 수 있게 하고, 이를 통해, 차실내 송풍 공기 속의 악취, 세균 및 각종 오염물질들의 제거 처리효율을 높일 수 있도록 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명은, 광 촉매 반응을 일으키면서 공조케이스부의 내부유로에 과산소 라디칼을 방출하여, 내부유로를 따라 차실내로 송풍되는 공기를 정화 처리하는 광촉매 모듈을 포함하는 차량용 공조장치에 있어서, 광촉매 모듈은, 내,외기를 흡입하여 차실내로 송풍하는 블로어와, 차실내로 송풍되는 공기를 냉각 또는 가열하는 열교환기 사이의 공조케이스부의 외면부분에 설치된다.

    The present invention relates to a vehicle air conditioner of which the purpose is to improve the installation location of a photocatalyst module so that superoxide radicals generated in the photocatalyst module may make contact with a more greater amount of air, thereby enabling the increase of the processing efficiency of removing malodor, bacteria and various contaminants in air blown into a vehicle cabin. In order to achieve such purpose, the present invention is a vehicle air conditioner comprising a photocatalyst module which causes photocatalysis so as to release superoxide radicals into an inner flow path of an air conditioner case unit, thereby purifying air blown into a vehicle cabin along the inner flow path, wherein the photocatalyst module is installed on the outer surface portion of the air conditioner case unit, between a blower, for suctioning inside and outside air and blowing same into the vehicle cabin, and a heat exchanger for cooling or heating air blown into the vehicle cabin.
